Sports Media Lab is an active enrichment class for students who love sports, stories, opinions, and team challenges. Students become commentators, reporters, coaches, and general managers as they read short game recaps, interpret fictional statistics, draft balanced teams, design plays, interview one another, and produce a live sports show. Along the way, they practice reading comprehension, purposeful writing, planning, organization, time management, flexible thinking, and collaboration—without the class feeling like extra homework.
