Comic Creation Club [10 week]

Grades: 1st - 5th (Ages: 7 - 11) Co-ed

This 10-week club session is brought to you by former Cold Spring Elementary School teacher, Nate Madden.

Participants will receive in-depth instruction on how to bring their comic ideas to life. This will support students in both their narrative writing and artistic skills. Participants will have tons of fun using their imagination to formulate narratives and bring those stories to the page using the comic format. This course is perfect for comic lovers, creative writers, and budding artists.

PARTICIPATION IN THIS CLUB ALSO INCLUDES A SPECIAL VISIT AND Q&A SESSION WITH MARYLAND STATE AWARD-WINNER AND NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR, ROSEANNE A. BROWN. She will join in-person to discuss her work on her various published works and share her insights and encouragements with the students.
