Musical Theatre Program
Following the tremendous success of Aladdin Reimagined, the Rock Creek Forest Musical Theatre Program is excited to announce our next production: Coco!
Step into the vibrant world of Coco, where music, family, and tradition come together in an unforgettable theatrical experience. Students will explore acting, singing, movement, and storytelling as they bring this heartwarming production to life. Throughout the school year, participants will rehearse and prepare for a spectacular performance of Coco to be shared with families and the school community in June 2027.
Whether your child performed in Aladdin Reimagined or is joining us for the first time, this program offers a welcoming environment where every student can grow as a performer, build lasting friendships, and create magical memories on stage.
Program Goals & Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, students will:
Develop foundational skills in acting, singing, and stage movement
Strengthen confidence through live performance experiences
Learn to work collaboratively as part of an ensemble cast
Understand basic stage directions, cues, and theater terminology
Explore themes of family, cultural traditions, identity, and storytelling through musical theatre
Experience the complete production process from rehearsal to final performanceExperience the full production process from rehearsal to performance
Program Highlights
Total Sessions: 36 weekly classes (1 hour each)

Final Performance: June 2027 (date to be announced)
Class Groups
Class 1: Tuesdays 4 – 5 pm (Grades 3rd to 5th)
Class 2: Wednesdays 4 -5 pm (Grades Kindergarten to 2nd)
Tuition & Payment Information
$345 per semester
Fall 2026 Semester: Payment due upon registration
Winter 2027 Semester: Payment due December 1, 2026
Spring 2027 Semester: Payment due April 1, 2027
Class Schedule and Attendance
Start Date: Fall semester classes for both Grades K–2 and Grades 3–5 begin in September.
Final Performance: The Dress Rehearsal and Final Performance will take place in June. Specific dates and times will be provided at the start of the semester.
Class Frequency: Classes meet once per week on the assigned day.
Cancellations: There are no make-up lessons for school closures or weather-related cancellations (e.g., snow days).
Attendance Policy: Consistent attendance is vital to ensure students are well-prepared for the final performance.Enrollment & Participation Guidelines
Enrollment & Participation Guidelines
We encourage students to enroll for the full academic year in order to gain the greatest benefit from the program and secure a meaningful role in the final performance.
Full-Year Enrollment: Students who participate in all three semesters will be guaranteed a singing role in the final performance.
Fall Semester: Serves as a dedicated period for skill-building and preparation for auditions held in the Winter semester. Directors will have an entire semester to nurture each student’s talents before casting begins.
Performance Eligibility: To be cast as a performer in the final production, students must be enrolled in both the Winter and Spring semesters, as full-cast rehearsals begin in the Winter.
Spring-Only Enrollment: Students joining solely in the Spring semester will take on essential technical or production roles such as stage management, props coordination, or backstage crew.
Flexible Participation: Students may choose to enroll in any individual semester without committing to subsequent semesters.

About Quartertonez Music
Quartertonez Music is a DMV-based music school where we grow and nurture the TONEZ within. Our curriculum utilizes western classical pedagogy as well as oral, improvisation, world music and rote learning to create a unique holistic approach to teaching music. We strongly believe that every one of our students from youngest to oldest have special, creative gifts that we can cultivate, foster and hone through our unique approach. Whether you are an aspiring musical professional or a recreational learner, we encourage all our students to enjoy and fully embrace their musical passions and unlock their own special talents.

Refund Policy
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the first scheduled class will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.
Cancellations made 7–13 days before the first scheduled class will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the first scheduled class are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after the program begins, regardless of attendance, except in cases of documented medical emergencies.
