What we do:
Welcome to Message In Motion! We are an on-site enrichment company that brings classes traditionally taught in a studio or gym conveniently into the classroom during the school day. We offer a variety of classes to boys and girls of all ages including:
Ballet/Tap
Hip Hop
Cheerleading
Musical Theatre
Circus Arts/Mime
Dance Around the World
Tea & Manners
Ballet/Jazz
Classes typically range from 45 min-1 hour, and are held weekly either running continuously from the start of the school year-the end of the school year, or in a fall, winter, and spring session format.

The four I's
Implement enrichment classes in schools in order to offer a more convenient and affordable alternative to parents
Introduce students to a variety of ways to stay fit, engage the mind, and be encouraged by the arts
Instruct proper technique and form
Instill important skills including cooperation, self-discipline, confidence, creativity, and personal expression

Description
This class is perfect for the ballerina looking to spice things up! Students will learn ballet and jazz dance basics so they can pirouette and chassé their way across the floor with both poise and funk! Emphasis on ballet and jazz dance technique and terminology, choreography, performance etiquette, and of course having fun! Students will dance to upbeat contemporary music as well as Broadway ballads, in addition to trying their hand at self choreography and improvisation!

Description
Does your child love to dance in the car or attempt break dancing in the kitchen? Then this might be the class for them! In this high energy hip hop dance class, students will learn the fundamentals of this increasingly popular dance form including break dancing, popping and locking, and freezes, as well as iconic hip hop movements including the cabbage patch, the wave, the snake, and more! Class emphasizes rhythm and style, personal expression, choreography, basic strengthening and conditioning, and having fun! Class culminates with an informal end of session in class parent show!
Grades: K - 6th Ages: 5 - 11
Description
Students are introduced to the main components of musical theatre including voice, acting, basic music theory, and dance technique (typically musical theatre jazz/broadway style and/or hip hop.) Learn choreography and staging basics while utilizing props, role playing, and imagination to aid in personal expression and creativity! Students learn and collaborate on mini musical routines from both old school Broadway shows like Cats & Lion King to more contemporary productions and shows like Hamilton, Fresh Beat Band, Annie, and more! Class culminates with an informal, end of session, in class parent showcase! (Pending school approval.)
