Through hands-on activities, role-play, and interactive demonstrations, children explore the exciting world of healthcare. All programs are written by experienced educators, board-certified physicians and trained healthcare professionals. Our classes are led by trained Little Medical School ® Instructors.

Description
Section I: Basic anatomy, medical instruments and prepping for surgery. Through role-play and activities, students will learn the key responsibilities of a doctor and explore the heart, lungs, and digestion. Students will use real medical instruments (stethoscope, reflex hammer, and blood pressure cuff) and practice scrubbing, suturing, and tying knots like a real surgeon.

Description
Students will roleplay
the key responsibilities of a
doctor and explore the human
optical system and different parts
of the ear. These future doctors
will learn about life-saving skills,
emergency preparedness, nutrition,
using splints/casts, and how to
read X-rays.

Description
Students will role-play the key
responsibilities of a veterinarian
and perform a whiskers-to-tail
exam on their newly “adopted”
plush cat. These future
veterinarians will learn about
animal body language, maintaining
a healthy environment such as
proper litterbox placement, create
a cat toy, and design a vet clinic.

Description
Section I: Dog/Veterinarian After “adopting” their very own plush puppy, students will roleplay the key responsibilities of a veterinarian, including how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks, make healthy treats, and vaccinate their dog.
Grades: K - 5th Ages: 6 - 12
Description
Students will explore some of the
dangers in the wild such as bug
bites, snake bites, and poisonous
plants. These future emergency
medics will learn how to splint
a broken leg, tie a tourniquet,
filter dirty water, the effects of
hypothermia and 20 ways to use a
bandana in emergencies.
