iCode Art Design w/ Minecraft & Graphic Design

Grades: 4th - 6th Ages: 9 - 12

Description

Learning the appreciation of art could sound boring to kids, but what if we learned about art by using Minecraft? Students will get to use Minecraft to practice Pixel Art, Building Architecture, Patterns and Sequences, and Statutes and Modern Sculptures. Students will then learn about graphic design by designing an event flyer, a logo and business card for an imaginary business!

Class 1 - Art and Design with Minecraft Pixel Art

Class 2 - Art and Design with Minecraft Building Architecture

Class 3 - Art and Design with Minecraft Statutes and Modern Sculptures

Class 4 - Designing for a specific audience: Event Flyer

Class 5 - Graphic Design in Business: Logo and Business Card for Imaginary Business

Class 6 - Composition/Arrangement: Event Flyer for their business
