DEILAB (pronounced day-lab) has a mission to provide a STEAM education track that inspires students from Pre-Kindergarten into Careers!

We ignite students’ imagination and challenge their critical thinking, helping them problem solve in a setting where they are empowered to take control of the learning experience.

STEAMING BEYOND S.T.E.M.!

S.T.E.M + Art = S.T.E.A.M.

S.T.E.M. is an acronym for the integrated study of “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math”.

S.T.E.A.M. adds “Art” into the equation. Art is the spark that breathes life into STEM.

DEILAB is an applied STEM-TO-STEAM lab where we use toys as tools to teach students about rapid prototyping, data acquisition iteration and scale to reinforce the importance of data-driven solution development. These soft skills are convergent and complementary where art and engineering blend successfully to leverage the capacity of human intelligence, adaptability, and innovation!

LEGO Innovation coursework is based on mechanical, artistic, design and robotics projects. Our unique programming explores the foundations of engineering in the modern day! DEILAB awakens creative problem-solving skills in people of all ages. We use “Toys as Tools to Teach” about Design, Engineering and Innovation concepts.

With head-to-head designing varying from buildings, bridges, battle robots and more; the act of play motivates a kind of mental activity that energizes creative thinking and innovation. Participants experience the thrill of leading and innovating in a competitive environment of the mind while enhancing analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
