Exploring Pointillism Art at Luxmanor 3:45 -4:45
Grades: K - 5th (Ages: 6 - 11) Co-ed
Pointillism will be offered on Wednesdays at 3:45 till 4:45 p.m. March 4 thru April 15 in the designated art room. Pointillism or dot art is a painting style where you can create pictures using lots of tiny dots instead of brushstrokes! In this course, students will learn how to use colorful dots to create beautiful landscapes, animals, or fun designs that come to life when you step back and look at them. It’s like making art with confetti — playful, creative, and full of color! What’s not to love?! This art club will help students build confidence through unconditional care and attention to detail.
Additional Notes
Classes are offered to students enrolled in general education and will be held in the designated art room. Materials are provided by the program unless instructed otherwise. No phones allowed, and no parents/caregivers are allowed to stay in the art room.
Drop-off and Pick-up Policy
To ensure the safety and accountability of all students, parents and caregivers must drop off and pick up at the school. Please arrive promptly for both drop-off and pick-up. We offer a 15-minute grace period for pick-up and ask that you make arrangements in advance to ensure students are picked up on time.

About Art Clubs for Kids
Art Clubs for Kids is an after-school program at MCPS schools providing safe spaces for primary education students. Our program develops their artistic talents, allowing them to connect with like-minded peers and explore various art forms. We ensure students are supported and nurtured through supervised care and fun throughout their experience with Art Clubs for Kids. Art Clubs for Kids is designed to enable all students to make better sense of their world through art education. Classes are offered to students enrolled in general education. Materials are provided by the program unless instructed otherwise.

Refund Policy
REFUND POLICY: Cancellation up to 5 days before start date – 100% refundable less $27.50 administrative fee. * Refunds will be issued in the same manner they were paid.
