Spanish Introductory and Early Beginner: Los tres cerditos
Grades: K - 1st (Ages: 5 - 7) Co-ed
Let’s speak Spanish! Big Learning instructors are fluent Spanish speakers and children learn and practice speaking Spanish in a fun, informal, language immersion setting with songs, games, movement, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Join us for our fall session story theme Los Tres Cerditos, or The Three Little Pigs.
Each session we explore different stories with varied topics and themes so children can learn new vocabulary and concepts throughout the school year. Workbooks and activities support early literacy skills and encourage practical use of the language. This level is designed for new beginners and is also appropriate for continuing students and children who hear and speak Spanish at home.
This class is intended for students who may not yet be reading or writing.

On the first day of class children receive a workbook in a pocket folder. Each week children will complete an activity and use their workbook during class. The teacher will send both the activity and workbook home after each class. We encourage parents to review their children’s work and to ask them to share new words, expressions, concepts, games, and songs they are learning. Thank you for helping your child remember to bring their Spanish folder and workbook back to school on class days!
From our experience, children can be hungry after school. Although Big Learning instructors do not provide snacks, there is time for your child to eat a simple snack from home before class starts.

Refund Policy
If classes are postponed or cancelled due to weather or illness we make every effort to make up the time. If students miss individual classes or drop after the class is confirmed there are no make-ups or refunds.
