The C&O Family Chess Center offers unique programs aimed at nurturing a love of the game of chess, and offering students & their families the means to develop their skills to the highest levels. We instruct students from first time players up to active tournament players. Coach Ross and Coach Omar have been teaching students in MCPS schools and running Summer programs for more than 40 years combined. We also happy to have FM Coach Luke Wong, who is an organizing member of the Rockville Chess Club, working in many of our classes and guiding many of our most advanced students. This year we also hope to have many students participating in the recently created MCPS Chess League.
Currently serving schools in Montgomery County.
